Listen Back: 17 local projects feature at BT Young Scientist Exhibition

17 projects have been entered from local schools to this years young scientist event with 9 from Cavan and 8 from Monaghan.

Peter Flynn from St Patrick's College in Cavan has entered his project into this years showcase event. His project surrounds a plan to upgrade a charcoal retort into a more efficient retort with a longer life-span.

Peter is one of over 1,000 students participating in the 61st Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition at the RDS in Dublin. Ronan Gargan spoke to the local student at his exhibition.
