Cavan actor in the midst of LA devastation. More than 200 acres of land near Los Angeles is on fire as emergency services deal with wildfires in California. Furthermore, residents were warned by the US National Weather Service to prepare to evacuate. The National Weather Service has said the situation is life threatening. Indeed, Cavan actor Richie Stephens lives just a few miles away from the LA devastation.
Richie, who says he has a suitcase in his car "ready to go", has lived in America for almost 20 years and moved to LA back in 2013. The local actor is originally from the Arva/Gowna area. Thus, he knows many people who lost their homes, not just celebrities, but working class people who have "lost everything." Eoghan Murphy spoke with Richie about the current situation in LA:
