Irish Flag etiquette must be adhered to-Local Councillor. A local Councillor raised the issue of how the Irish flag is presented outside of government buildings.
Cllr Stiofan Conaty says nothing in the world gives him greater pride than to see our tri-colour taking its rightful place under the sun; and among the flags of the nations of the world.
But when not under the sun, in the light the flag should remain; and not left out in the dark, unlit at night. Cllr Conaty brought a motion to Cavan County Council in relation to the matter last week and he spoke to Ronan Gargan about the his calls for Irish Flag etiquette.
