Continuing the lead up the International Women's Day we have a Cavan councillor today to share her story of entering politics and why she decided to take the leap.
Carmel Brady, is a Fine Gael councillor from Cavan and she got into politics in 2014 because she wanted to help the community.
She hopes that younger women and men get involved in the coming years and bring energy and life to the area.
