Residents at a Bailieborough estate are blaming an influx of rats on illegal dumping in the area.
People living in the estate have reportedly been horrified to see rats running around amongst the houses in broad daylight.
They're calling on the council to do something about illegal dumping in the area which has included people dumping rubbish in their own gardens and in the streets. Cavan County Council has been contacted and is currently responding to the complaints.
