The parents of children in the ASD Unit at Edenmore feel "There has to be a way around" the proposed closure of a north Monaghan Autism Unit.
The temporary building is due to close, after a planning application to construct a permanent unit was refused over flood risks.
A Department of Education Spokesperson says officials are working with the National Council for Special Education and the school authority to provide permanent accommodation for the Special Class.
Sean Plummer says 'Le Cheile' has been invaluable to his family, and he believes there is a better solution than closure.
