While many sectors are hearing about the ease of restrictions and are beginning to open up many of the performing arts educators in the country feel they have been left out of the conversation.
Not only that but many children and young people who enjoy the arts and perhaps are not into sport have been left without their outlets and hobbies with no sign of the indoor classes coming back.
Leslie Goggins who runs Dance with Leslie, with schools in Cavan and Monaghan has been speaking to Sheila Naughton about the calls from the PAEI for the resumption of classes and the impact the loss of these hobbies can have on students:
