A Co Cavan group was "blown away" by its wins at the recent Creative Lives Awards.
The Awards shine a light on the importance and resilience of creative work within communities during the pandemic.
Drumgoon Hill Old Graveyard Committee picked up the People's Choice Award, which invited people to vote for their favourite group.
The local committee was also the runner up in the Ireland category of the awards.
Drumgoon Hill Old Graveyard Committee won the award for its "Hooley in the House", that combined music, singing and storytelling for an online event held in the midst of the pandemic.
Roseabby McGorry says the award win was just the pick-me-up that was needed for the community.
She assed that the award win is a testament to the creative talent of east Cavan and a just reward for the hard work of all the volunteers.
