A Cavan woman who pleaded for council inspections of her old rented property says she's now living in her dream home.
Last August, Triona Coates shared her experience of living in "horrendous" conditions in a farm house without proper heating or plumbing.
As a HAP recipient she had called on the local authority to inspect the property, but it said Covid-19 had limited the number of homes they could view.
An inspector visited just before Triona left, and "condemned" the house.
She says her family so much happier now since being offered a new place to live.
