HEAR MORE: Monaghan councillor on his recovery from Covid-19

A Monaghan Councillor has described his recovery from Covid-19.

Richard Truell, who works at Cavan General Hospital, developed symptoms over two weeks ago and got tested as a precaution.

After testing positive he was transferred to the CityWest Hotel in Dublin, which is operating as a facility to treat healthcare workers.

He spent ten days in Dublin recovering, and returned home when his symptoms eased.

Richard spoke to The Wider View about his experiences.
