Local students have impressed judges in a real courtroom situation to land a spot in an international final.
The National Mock Trials Competition gives students an opportunity to gain hands on experience of the workings of the law.
Hundreds of transition year students descended upon the Criminal Courts in Dublin recently for the national final which saw Our Lady's Secondary School in Castleblayney come out on top.
Along with three other Irish schools, they will go on to New York in November for the International final where they'll be debating against schools from all over the world.
