A Cavan nursing home received a PPE delivery by air earlier today.
Jim Smith, a volunteer with Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes is flew in at half one, to bring the scheduled order to Sheelin Nursing Home.
Masks, gowns and gloves will be added to the stocks of the nursing home, and used by staff as they continue to care for the residents.

Russell Mellett, the owner of Sheelin Nursing Home spoke to Aaron McElroy on The Wider View to tell more about the delivery.
Shortly after landing at Lough Sheelin Airfield, Jim Smith joined us on the show to explain how he came to take the plane to Cavan.
