A new cross border peace project has been lunched in Swanlinbar in County Cavan.
The village borders with County Fermanagh and experienced turbulent times throughout the Troubles and during the peace process. This new project aims to build cross border relationships and also to draw on the beautiful natural surroundings to up-skill residents.
The goal is to put Swanlinbar back on the map and make it somewhere to stop in, not just drive through. On The Wider View Programme today, Caroline Gauley spoke to Sharon Howe from the Swanlinbar Development association to find out more:
