Pre-school staff from across Ireland gathered in Athlone om saturday to receive the Healthy Ireland Pre-school Award from the HSE for the provision of a pre-school service that promotes children’s health and well-being under the Healthy Ireland Framework.
Now in its second year, and organised by the National Childhood Network, the programme is devised and delivered through collaboration between the Health Promotion and Improvement Department of the HSE.
The National Childhood Network is based in Monaghan, and Denise McCormilla and Maureen McDermott from the Network joined Tessa Fleming in studio earlier this week.
