Shane McLoughlin Guinness World record 25 tonne truck. A Co Monaghan man will attempt to rewrite history this weekend. Ineed, by becoming the first Paralympian to secure his third Guinness World record.

Clones man, Shane McLoughlin will make the three in a row bid for the Guinness World Record in the space of just five months by pulling a 25 tonne truck.

Shane is taking on the challenge at the Cavan Crystal Hotel at 5pm this Saturday afternoon. The 53 year old claimed the first World Record for the heaviest vehicle pulled in Dublin back in May, when he managed to tug a 18 tonne lorry.
