A charity run is taking place this weekend to remember a popular Cavan man who passed away last year from cancer.

Vincie turned sixty on 2nd of February last year and he decided to have a party not for himself but it was to raise money for Drumlin house and Cavan Monaghan palliative care and got a total of over 6000 euro for the two charities.

Hi brother Dessie said if there was anyone in need he would have helped them out and nobody would have known about it only the people involved.

Dessie O' Rourke has been telling our reporter Ronan Gargan all about the upcoming event on Sunday and also what kind of a man his late brother Vincie was.
