Cllr Sinéad Flynn has proposed that Monaghan County Council write to the Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee and the Taoiseach Simon Harris. A letter insisting that the government adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards domestic, sexual and gender-based violence. Indeed, Sinn Fein's Sinead Flynn raised the issue at this week's sitting of Monaghan County Council. The motion was seconded by Cllr Cathy Bennett.
