Listen Back: Coillte criticised over power outages following Storm Darragh. The lack of communication following Storm Darragh in relation to water supply and electricity outages has been raised.
Cllr John Paul Feeley brought a motion to Cavan County Council yesterday. Indeed, highlighting the long delays people are continuing to go without the likes of electricity and water in their homes.
He said in many cases the power outages and now the major delays is down to trees and the location of them to electrical power lines.
Cllr Feeley said forestry companies like Coillte and others have no regard for the people living or travelling in these rural areas who may to go up to one week without basic needs in their homes
Cllr Feeley spoke to Ronan Gargan about the issue earlier today.
