Co Cavan drama group crowned All-Ireland winners. Bailieborough Drama Group put Co Cavan on the national map over the weekend! They were crowned All-Ireland champions in the one-act confined drama festival. The local group came out on top during the finals in Naas after a long journey on the All-Ireland drama circuit. Indeed, travelling the length and breadth of the country, impressing judges and audiences along the way with their play 'Dying Minutes'.
Local woman Liz O'Hanlon not only wrote the award-winning play, but acted on stage also. Jodie Curran spoke with Liz about the experience:
