Capacity issues on Cavan/Dublin bus raised in the Dáil. Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD Brendan Smith has welcomed the commitment by the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan TD, to raise with Bus Éireann capacity issues on the Cavan Dublin route. Deputy Smith raised this issue again through further Parliamentary Questions in Dáil Éireann. According to commuters and Bus Éireann staff, when the 109 and 109X leave Bus Aras sometimes they are full. They are not able to pick up passengers who are expecting to get home on a scheduled service.  Additionally, there are passengers bound for county Cavan being left behind in the city of Dublin, in West Dublin and on into county Meath.
