Hundreds of thousands of people went to see the Pope in Ireland at the weekend.
On today's Joe Finnegan Show, we spoke to Fr. Brian D'arcy who has been censured by the Vatican over statements he has made about the Catholic Church.
Fr D'arcy con-celebrated mass at the Phoenix Park on Sunday and was following events closely - he told us that in his opinion
''When he was with dignitaries, he wasn't really himself, it wasn't that he had anything against them, it's just not his comfort zone.. but when he went to ordinary people.. he just took off and became an absolutely brilliant man''
Meanwhile, Pope Francis has refused to respond to claims by a former Vatican diplomat, who has called for him to resign.
Pope Francis held meeting with survivors of clerical abuse at the weekend.
We also spoke to Paul Redmond who is Chairperson of the Coalition of Mother and Baby Home Survivors - in his words ''sorry is the hardest word for the church and they are terrified of an admission of legal liability''
