Joe spoke to Longford local Mary, who last year, spoke of her fight and long wait to access a psychologist with the Midland's Mental Health Services.
In September 2021, Mary was allocated a psychologist and has worked over the last few months with her to better her mental health.
However, staff retention and shortage issues have plagued both the HSE and more specifically, local mental health services.

Mary's psychologist is stepping away from her role resulting in at least a 6 month wait until the service is re-staffed.
Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show this week, Mary is criticising the government for what she calls a failure to adequately fund and staff the health service.
