A Cavan-Monaghan TD has denied claims Sinn Féin ran a 'kangaroo court' in the case of Brian Stanley.
Brian Stanley, Laois-Offaly TD, claimed unfair treatment during an internal enquiry and resigned from the party over the weekend.
Sinn Féin TD for Cavan Monaghan, Matt Carthy, who's a senior member of the party, says he is not aware of any of the details of the complaint or the findings of a preliminary report.
