The Patch was started about 4 years ago by Tirloch O’Brien, after he left his job to pursue growing good quality, organic, pesticide free food.
While he says he is still learning, he has managed to grow his business and supplies the Green Box in Cavan, as well as a number of shops in Dublin.
He told us he has plans to expand, and possibly create some employment for the region but more on that later.
