Eircode have teamed up with the National Guild of Master Craftsmen in Ireland to highlight the benefits of using an Eircode when booking a tradesperson.
According to consumer research conducted by Eircode in 2019, 94% of households use their Eircode but only 29% have used it when booking a tradesperson.
However, Alan Digman, their commercial director says there are many benefits when booking this kind of service as it saved time and hassle particularly for those living outside urban areas without street names or house numbers.
