Women are better supported by new workplace practices, like remote and hybrid-working, but hurdles remain in growing the number of women in senior management positions.
That's according to a report from professional services firm Grant Thorton which coincides with International Women's Day.
A survey of mid-size Irish business reveals over 70% of businesses believe new hybrid work models opens up greater opportunities for women.
However, the number of women who hold senior management roles has dropped off.
In Ireland, 30% of senior management roles are held by women, down from 33% reported in 2021.
