A recent survey from the Compliance Institute reveals that 66% of organisations say the risk of financial crime and cyber-attack has increased due to remote working.

Meanwhile, 4 in 10 say data breach risks have increased.

The Compliance Institute is a provider of education and professional development in compliance and is a leading voice on matters relating to regulatory compliance and business ethics.

Kathy Jacobs President of the Compliance Institute, says cybercriminals have adapted their methods to take advantage of the huge increase in remote working systems during the pandemic.

She added that it's vital to maintain 'good housekeeping' when it comes to IT infrastructure, digital record keeping, cybersecurity, and overall digital management strategy.

Kathy spoke to our reporter Diarmuid Pepper about the survey and began by explaining the work of the Compliance Institute:
