Job vacancies are 42 percent higher in Quarter Three of 2021 than the same period in pre-pandemic 2010.
That's according to the new IrishJobs.ie Jobs Index.
19 of 30 sectors surpassed their pre-Covid rate of vacancy generation, and remote work jobs continue to increase, as all counties record more vacancies.
Orla Moran, General Manager of IrishJobs.ie, says the figures are "good news" for jobseekers, but creates a competitive talent market for businesses as strong candidates can pick and choose roles and employers.
She added that there is "positive news" for people in Cavan and Monaghan who looking for a job close to home.
