The Cavan Digital Hub offers a fantastic opportunity to put the county on the tech start-up map.

That's according to the manager of the Digital Hub, following the announcement that a US communications firm is to take up additional workspace at the Cavan Digital Hub.

PublicRelay has confirmed it's secured the entire top floor at the Hub, which will result in the creation of ten additional jobs.

An IDA client company, PublicRelay opened its second Irish office in Cavan in November 2019 with just two staff, and its numbers will rise to 27 over the coming months.

Leanne Connell is the manager of the Cavan Digital Hub, and she says the news is an "endorsement of the Hub's superb facilities and workspace".

She adds that the "highly-skilled workforce" in Cavan are reaping the benefits from remote-working and can now have tech-driven jobs whilst living in the county.
