Cycling was one sport allowed to proceed during the strictest parts of the covid-19 lockdown as an exercise activity.
However group training, races and sportives have been heavily impact due to covid-19 sporting restrictions through the pandemic.
Mark Givenney of Roscommon Cycling Club explains to Dave Hooper how virtual cycling has been a huge benefit to the Roscommon cycling club and the cycling community during lockdown and how the club has seen a surge in membership enquiries this and last Summer as more people took up cycling.
