Triathlon a sport involving three disciplines and generally running from April to September has been heavily impacted by the covid-19 pandemic. Restrictions in 2020 saw the majority of the sports season removed and with restrictions in place in 2021, the sport has found it difficult to continue and risks losing a high amount of members. Lanesboro Triathlon Club Chairman Paddy Dowling spoke to Dave Hooper about how his own day-to-day sporting life has been impacted during the pandemic and the challenge the sport and Lanesboro triathlon club face exiting lockdown.
