Jolita Puksmiene shares how moving from Palanga, Lithuania to Ireland at a very young age of 15 has made her cultural identity “not fully Irish” and “not fully Lithuanian” but a happy “in-between” that she cannot fully explain. Her years of hard work in hospitality and customer service have resulted to co-sharing a flourishing sushi business with her Dutch partner in Virginia. Her blended family that now lives beside a lake continues to appreciate the very welcoming multicultural community in Cavan.
