Citizens of the World

Citizens of the World is a vibrant new docuseries here on Shannonside Northern Sound. Presenter Daniela Rana dives into the lives of young people who have moved to our region from all corners of the globe with ambitions and dreams to fulfil. The programme explores how these ‘citizens of the world’ have embraced various cultures and how these have shaped them into the people they are today. Drawing parallels between the Irish culture and that of their native country; the listener is given a taste of the true essence of all the diverse people who make up our locality, through stories and interesting facts as told by the guests themselves. Each episode is a harmony of fascinating music and sounds that will transport the listener to faraway places; from the windy dunes of the beaches along the Baltic Sea, to the ancient ruins of the Roman Empire.
