A young Monaghan carer sitting the Leaving Cert this month says there are a lot of positives to his life.
Smithborough's Sean Collins says his life experience has given him a more mature outlook compared to some of his peers.
Sean cares for his sister Kathryn, who has a rare chromosomal disability, and his mother, who has breast cancer.
A former "Young Carer of the Year", Sean has started his leaving cert today and hopes to go on to study social policy.
Despite the challenges, he says there's nothing he'd change about his life.
