Yellow fog warning in place for Cavan and Monaghan

Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for Counties Cavan and Monaghan this morning.

A yellow weather warning for fog was in place from midnight last night and is expected to be in place until 10am this morning. The weather agency forecasts widespread mist and fog, thickening and becoming dense in places.

They are warning of poor visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.
