Works on the upgrade of the waste water plant in Virginia will commence in March. The confirmation came about after local Councillor TP O'Reilly sought an update following the approved planning permission in recent months for the plant. Cavan County Council said it would take two years have the local waste water plant complete.
Cllr O'Reilly said that it has took a long time to get to this stage with the amount of surveys and the planning stages but he says it's welcome news for Virginia. The local councillor says it's good news adding that if you don't have the basic infrastructure, the delivery of housing is in turn affected.
