Siptu members at Kyte Powertech in Cavan have balloted to accept Labour Court recommendations which will end the dispute at the company.
Company management have also accepted the proposals and as a result no further industrial action will take place. In a statement the company said it looked forward to continuing its delivery to customers in Ireland, the UK and across Europe.’
Meanwhile, Kyte Powertech management and SIPTU attended the Labour Court on the 1st of September to discuss an ongoing pay dispute at the Cavan plant. A final set of proposals were agreed by the parties at that stage and Kyte Powertech and SIPTU recommended that workers accept the terms.
"Kyte Powertech welcomes the result of a ballot of SIPTU members to accept the recent Labour Court recommendation which management has also accepted," added the company.
"This brings an end to all industrial action; we look forward to continuing to deliver for our customers in Ireland, the UK and across Europe."
