A Bailieborough dairy farmer says increased commitments were behind his decision to step down as Deputy President of the ICMSA.
Lorcan McCabe was one year into his second three-year term in the position when he tendered his resignation to the organisation last month.
McCabe said the decision was made because he felt he could no longer fulfil his duties with the ICMSA while running his farm.
