Work has commenced on a new Primary Care Centre for Ballybay. The centre will provide a wide range of clinics and health services, including GP; Dietetics; Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy; Public Health Nursing; Social Work and Speech and Language Therapy. The new centre will bring a boost in terms of services, local employment and other economic benefits to the town.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound, Senator Robbie Gallagher said; "This is excellent news for the town of Ballybay and the surrounding area. The Primary Care Centre is expected to be completed by the end of the year,” said Senator Gallagher. The centre will provide a wide range of clinics and health services, including GP; Dietetics; Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy; Public Health Nursing; Social Work and Speech and Language Therapy. The project will see many much needed new medical services brought to Ballybay to serve its community and it will be a significant boost for Ballybay in terms of services, local employment and other economic benefits to the town," he added.
