Over 1,000 students are continue to present their BT Young Scientist projects to industry professionals ahead of tomorrows final.
85 judges from STEM industries will continue the judging process today and decide which entries are in the running for one of 200 awards. AI, dynamic ticket pricing and health and well being are just some of the popular project themes this year.
17 projects have been entered from local schools to this years event with 9 from Cavan and 8 from Monaghan.
Peter Flynn from St Patrick's College in Cavan has entered his project into this years showcase event. His project surrounds a plan to upgrade a charcoal retort into a more efficient retort with a longer life-span.
Peter says the atmosphere is amazing and the national event offers a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to learn something new.
