Over 120 Cavan business women will celebrate National Women's Enterprise Day tomorrow. National Women's Enterprise Day takes place nationwide every year.
Locally, this year's event will take place in the Hotel Kilmore tomorrow morning from 8.30am and will feature an impressive line-up of seven speakers.
Tara Humphreys is a Business Advisor at the Local Enterprise Office in Cavan.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Tara said that the National Women’s Enterprise Day began in 2007 with the aim of shining a light on female entrepreneurs providing profile and inspiration to other women.
She added that the Local Enterprise Office team in Cavan are delighted to host this event and are look forward to welcoming over 120 women in business from around the county who will hear from a number of inspirational panel speakers on the day.
"It all started as a national event and in later years it adapted to become a regional event to help forge stronger relationships between entrepreneurs at local level," explained Tara. "Our event tomorrow to celebrate National Women's Enterprise Day provides a platform for women in business to recognise the achievements of others and also acknowledge their own successes.
"The team in Local Enterprise Office Cavan are delighted to host this event and we look forward to welcoming over 120 women in business from around the county who will hear from our inspirational panel of speakers and also have the opportunity to network with other business women from Co Cavan."
