The Cavan Women in Business Network will host a new event today in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan from 6pm. The Cavan Women in Business Network was relaunched back in October 2023 and currently has 66 members. The theme of this evening's event is "Unlocking Success: Mastering Pricing and Business Growth."
The object of the network is to bring together female entrepreneurs in the country and encourage them to learn form each other and grow their businesses. Tara McGovern is A Business Advisor with the Local Enterprise Office in Cavan. Speaking to Northern Sound, Tara said that the event is all about networking, learning, and empowerment; "Sometimes for business owners it can be very lonely, you're dealing with an awful lot of challenges and sometimes you don't have the help or assistant that you're looking for but having a chat and talking to people who've done it all before and perhaps came up against very similar issues it can be really beneficial to have a chat with them to see how they overcame those problems. That's really the goal of networking is making contacts and learning from your peers."
