Woman arrested in Monaghan as part of invoice re-direct fraud investigations

A woman has been arrested in Monaghan as part of investigations into invoice re-direct fraud.

Gardai made the arrest following a search in the county today as part of Operation SKEIN.

The woman in her early forties is being detained at Monaghan Garda Station.

This is the 11^th arrest as part of this operation and investigations are ongoing.

Operation SKEIN is an investigation into international re-direct fraud and the laundering of the proceeds through accounts in the country.
