The winning €500,000 Euromillions ticket sold in Cavan has been claimed.
The lucky ticket holder who won following Tuesday's EuroMillions draw has made contact with the National Lottery prize claims team.
The ticket was purchased in the Barrack Street Service Station in Bailieborough which has been run by the Roe family in the town since 2008.
Due to the amount won the winner has been advised to get independent legal and financial advice in preparation of the processing of their claim.
The National Lottery says they hope to officially to pay the prize in the next two weeks.
