A Swanlinbar man says the people of West Cavan are the forgotten people when it comes to power outages.
The aftermath of Storm Éowyn has now entered day 12, with 2,500 people still without power in Cavan and Monaghan. Cavan is still the worst affected with 2,000 currently out, and 500 in Monaghan. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, James from Swanlinbar says West Cavan always suffers power cuts during storms.
He believes forestry is the main cause.
