The 'Inspire Living Joy' wellness festival is taking place on Sunday the 4th of June at the Oakland Centre in Glaslough. This festival is organised to promote wellness and raise funds for suicide prevention charities.
With over 40 stalls, 15 guest speakers, activities and workshops all lined-up for the day, organisers Catherine Caulfield, Martina Crudden and Amanda Donnelly believe this event has something for "absolutely everyone" to enjoy.
Whether you're looking to expand your knowledge on wellness, seek support for yourself or a loved one, or simply have a day filled with laughter and fun, organiser Catherine Caulfield says this event will cater to all of that and more.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the Scotstown native revealed that workshops on the day will also benefit young people experiencing anxiety and challenges in the lead-up to exam season.
Catherine explained; "This event will provide and excellent opportunity for people to learn about mental health support, parental support, and other issues that may affect the wellbeing of our young people and our community as a whole.
"We are hoping that as many people as possible can join us in supporting this important cause, all participation will help to raise awareness of suicide prevention and support for those in need across the area."
