Police think they've recovered the weapon used to murder a 32-year-old pregnant woman in her County Armagh home.
Detectives believe Natalie McNally was attacked in the middle of last month by someone she knew and was comfortable allowing into her house in Lurgan.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team have issued a renewed appeal today for information on the murder of Natalie McNally.
Natalie died a violent death nearly three weeks ago when she was stabbed in her own home in Silverwood Green, Lurgan.
She was 32 years old and 15 weeks pregnant.
Officers have so far have conducted 200 door-to-door inquiries, seized 3-thousand hours of CCTV footage, and sent 50 items for forensic examination.
Speaking at today’s appeal Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said he believes Natalie knew her killer, and police have no information to suggest a risk to other women.
He said he was keen to build up a picture of Natalie’s friendship groups and her life, so he would like to hear from any friends or acquaintances who visited Natalie in her home.
The Chief Inspector said he would also appeal to anyone who knows Natalie, or has interacted with her, in and outside of the social media space, to get in touch.
