Uisce Éireann says water is restored in all areas of County Monaghan.
Following this positive development the utility company is removing the water tankers from locations in Monaghan for "needs in other local counties".
In a statement, Uisce Éireann said they will continue to deliver boiled water to properties that have private water wells but no power.
