The water safety notice for consumers of the Mountain lodge Group Water Scheme remains in place.
Over the weekend the areas of Laragh, Tunnyduff, parts of Poles, and Mountain Lodge in Cavan were informed by Cavan County Council that the water was unsafe to drink.
Samples from the scheme showed elevated levels of aluminium and manganese in the network, posing an immediate risk to health.

The issue has not yet been resolved and there is no estimation as to when matter will be fixed.
Mountainlodge have provided alternate supplies of water at 2 locations, namely Tunnyduff & Laragh National Schools.
