Regular users of Emy Lough and the scenic walkway around it have organised an event to help raise funds for its maintenance and upgrade.
Donagh Development Association and members from groups who avail of Emy Lough have come together for a fun 5k walk / run tomorrow.
Funds raised will not only help maintain the area and pay for hidden costs like insurance and professional fees but, will also allow groups to upgrade their facilities.
Everyone is welcome to come along for the walk or run including kids who will get treats and sweets afterwards.
Anyone interested can sign up at Emyvale GAA grounds from 11:30 tomorrow, Sunday. 27th October with the 5k event starting at 12 noon.
